Experience
This May will mark my 15th anniversary teaching high school Spanish! I started teaching high school Spanish at Douglas High School (MA) in May of 2004. During my time there, I also served a few years as Department Chair, Vertical Team Chair and FLAC Co-Chair. I spent 1 year teaching Spanish at Portsmouth High School (RI) prior to moving to St. John's County in the summer of 2017. This is my second year teaching in St. John's County. While I currently teach levels I and II, I have taught all levels, I-V, and AP Spanish Language during my career.

Hobbies
My main passion is travel! I have traveled all over Spain and Italy on several trips there and hope to call one of those countries home (or part-time home) some day. In the mean time, I get my cultural fix by cooking tapas or Giada DeLaurentis recipes, watching Spanish films, studying Italian, and seeking out local cultural opportunities... one of my recent ventures was to the Dali museum in Tampa. I also love to take care of my pets and other family's pets and am an avid runner looking to get back up and running in that sport.
