I'm a tutor who is based out of Jacksonville, Florida. As a tutor, I'm able to help my students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been writing, English, and standardized test preparation, amongst other things. I seek to make a true difference in the lives of the students that I work with. I hope to empower my students to think critically about their studies "” not just recite answers for a test. I have more than 20 years of experience working in the field of education. During my time in the classroom I've developed my own philosophy for teaching students. I seek to provide my students with engaging work that keeps them interested and excited to be in class. I want my lessons to reflect real world applications so that my students are better prepared to take what they've learned out of the classroom and into the working world. I take on the role of a mentor and hope to model behavior that teaches my students intuitively how to behave as adults. I know that every student can learn any subject they put their mind to with the right guidance. As a tutor, I seek to provide the guidance my students need to reach all of their academic goals. I'd love to use the skills I've spent my career developing to help you get more out of your education.
